Flowery Years consists of eight one-take shots capturing the ascent of Monte Solaro, the highest peak on the island of Capri. The viewer’s gaze is directed from a bird’s-eye perspective, navigating a regenerative terrain. The images unfold in daylight, accompanied by nocturnal sound recordings of birds, katydids, and searching helicopters.
